Payments

All orders are only put in the diary once the non-refundable deposit requested has been paid, the remainder can be paid on collection in cash or in advance of collection if by bank transfer. It must be paid at least two days before delivery or when agreed at time of order being placed. Wedding orders are to be paid in full two weeks before the wedding date. By paying a deposit or full payment you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out below. No cheques will be accepted on day of cake collection.

Collection time

It is wise to place your order in good time as our diary fills up quickly, all orders will be ready for collection after 4pm on the day they have been requested, and in the morning on Saturdays, if you need it before then please make this clear when ordering, no collections on Sundays unless prior arrangement has been made.

Responsibility

Mother & Me are not responsible for any damage to cakes that are being collected once they have left our premises, cakes need to be kept in cool dry conditions (not refrigerated) to remain at the high standard they leave us, any additional information will be given if necessary. We are also not responsible for any damage after set up is complete if we have been requested to do this, any repairs to damage after this will be liable to charge,

Allergies

Although our work-space is kept clean (Top Rating of 5 by Environmental Health) we cannot guarantee that cake ingredients from our suppliers and equipment may come into contact with nuts, wheat, milk etc. we will do our utmost to prevent this if an allergy is expressed. Please ensure you make it clear when booking the cake if you require any dietary requirements.
